Vice Minister Liao holds talks with Egyptian Minister of Trade and Industry

On Nov 1, Vice Minister Liao Xiaoqi held talks with Egyptian Minister of Trade and Industry Eng.Rashid Mohamed Rashid.

Rashid welcomed Liao’s visit to Egypt. He said that the two nations have frequent bilateral high-level exchange in the past few years and Egypt was happy that the economic and trade ties developed fast. Rashid believed that China’s fast economic developing pattern set a good example for Egypt. Egypt’s economic development quickened in recent years, that the government strived to expand export, vigorously absorb foreign investment. China possessed huge market potential which in turn provided a favorable opportunity to the cooperation.

Liao praised the achievements gained in bilateral trade and economic cooperation and said that China attached great importance to develop the cooperative relationship with Egypt. He expressed that Sino-Egyptian bilateral trade grew fast, Chinese enterprises increased investment in Egypt and good achievements gained in fields like economic technique and talent training. China’s Ministry of Commerce was willingly to cooperate with Egyptian Ministry of Trade and Industry, implement the consensus with enthusiasm, and jointly promote further development.
